Anureet Kaur is a Toronto-based sustainability professional, climate policy researcher, public speaker, and college professor.
Working at the intersection of technology and sustainability, Anureet is the first appointed Sustainability Manager at Softchoice. Her role entails developing the organization’s sustainability strategy and roadmap and providing advisory on ESG reporting frameworks and disclosures.
Since 2019, Anureet has been a Professor at Seneca College’s Sustainable Business Management Program, where she teaches responsible leadership, social impact, and climate justice.
Anureet is deeply committed to a just and sustainable future. She continues to advocate for Canada’s equitable, low-carbon economy and, most importantly – the inclusion of Indigenous voices in climate and energy strategy as a path to true reconciliation.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from the University of Toronto. Born and raised in Dubai, Anureet loves to explore trails, listen to podcasts and cheer for her favourite basketball team – Raptors. She is grateful for her purpose-driven work and her impact on the community.
